Mission
The Office of Assessment and Institutional Research is responsible for the assessment of teaching and learning and for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of institutional data. Our primary responsibility is to engage in activities which enhance student learning. It is for that purpose that any activity is done and continued.
We believe that assessment should be driven by objectives, should be multi-faceted, and should have results taken seriously in the ongoing process of teaching and learning.
We further believe in the Principles of Good Practice for Assessing Student Learning and continue to strive to instill the spirit of the Principles in every assessment activity.
