UH West O‘ahu - Graduation & Retention Rates
of Transfer Students by Cohort Year
The graduation and retention rates of transfer students who entered West O‘ahu from Fall semester 1998 through Fall semester 2006 are provided below. As of Fall 2009, the average 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year retention rates of transfer students are 57%, 72%, and 33%, respectively. Based on these Fall semester cohorts (1998 - 2006), the retention rates of transfer students by cohort year (Fall 1998 to Fall 2004) ranged from 65% to 79% for their first year, 42% to 61% in their second year, and 22% to 41% in their third year. Please note that the graduation and retention figures only account for those graduates of bachelor degrees. The graduates of subject certificates are counted separately (please see"Degrees and Certificates Earned").
